I’m the author of SPEAK SPANISH IN 9 WEEKS. I’m a native speaker from Ecuador and I have been successfully teaching Spanish for 12 years in Los Angeles and in the United States via Skype and Zoom.

I have researched and tried many Spanish language textbooks, audio materials, systems, software and online courses to figure out which method was the most effective and would fit best my students learning approach. That didn’t work out as expected, as I quickly realized that most textbooks or systems in the market were lacking something. I did some research and found out that according to the US Foreign Service Institute, it only really takes less than six months to achieve language proficiency in Spanish. Being aware of this, I started putting together my own Spanish language teaching material and that’s when the SPEAK SPANISH IN 9 WEEKS course was born. This intensive course had 3 main objectives:

1) To have ALL the necessary information to learn Spanish at a basic to intermediate level in one textbook
2) To break-down Spanish grammar complex rules and topics so that ANYONE can easily understand them
3) To shorten the learning process by deconstructing the language

Nowadays, I keep getting my amazing students speaking Spanish at an intermediate level in 3 months and working on my second textbook for them!
