Why the name SPEAK SPANISH IN 9 WEEKS?
It was a Saturday afternoon, October 29, 2016 when Jim called Christian inquiring about Spanish lessons. Jim, a 69-year-old gentleman, wanted to learn Spanish as he had met a nice Spanish lady named Carmen in a cruise in Barcelona few weeks prior, but there was a problem: Jim did not speak Spanish and Carmen did not speak English. Jim told Christian Carmen had invited him to a New Year’s Eve party and that he HAD to attend but he needed to learn some Spanish first. Jim’s flight was already booked for December 30. Christian told Jim: “We only had 9 weeks until December 30,” Jim’s response was: “we’ll make it happen!” And they did. Jim completed the basic-intermediate course in 9 weeks and that is where the name of Christian’s book and course came from. Jim and Carmen got married 5 months later.
